How to read Prisme sources and steps

Find the sources behind an answer and the steps actually performed for your request.

Creatype · Updated October 11, 2026

Follow work in progress

Steps appear while Prisme works. They show operations and available material, not an estimated completion percentage. The thinking timer shows elapsed time; a longer duration does not prove a better answer.

Find the information used

When work finishes, the steps collapse. View steps opens them again. The Sources panel below the message groups the links and material used when the response has sources. Open those links to check a claim or see the original video.

Check before publishing

A source may be public, partial or unavailable. Verify time-sensitive facts, numbers and quotations in the original source. Ask for a correction in the same thread if wording goes beyond what the source establishes. A response without a source is not evidence of an external fact.
